Wagyu Beef with Black Truffle Sauce
Ingredients:
– 2 Wagyu beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin), about 8 oz each
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 shallot, finely chopped
– 1/4 cup beef broth
– 1/4 cup heavy cream
– 1-2 tablespoons black truffle paste or finely grated black truffle
– 1 tablespoon butter
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Wagyu Steaks:
– Pat the Wagyu steaks dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
– Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add the steaks to the skillet.
– Sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.
– Once cooked, transfer the steaks to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm.

3. Serve:
– Place the cooked Wagyu steaks on serving plates.
– Spoon the black truffle sauce generously over the steaks.
– Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and added flavor.
