Shabu Shabu Hotpot Bring Warmth and Joy to Your Table

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 1 lb Wagyu Sliced Ribeye or Chuck Roll 
  • 1 pack Kai Wagyu Yakiniku Sauce (for dipping) 
  • 1 tbsp Kai Wagyu Steakhouse Seasoning 
  • 8 cups beef or kombu broth 
  • ½ head Napa cabbage, chopped 
  • 1 bunch spinach 
  • 1 pack enoki mushrooms 
  • 1 pack shiitake mushrooms, sliced 
  • 1 block tofu, cubed 
  • 2 carrots, thinly sliced 
  • 2 packs udon noodles 
  • Optional: rice for serving 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the broth: In a large hotpot or wide pot, bring broth to a gentle simmer. Add Kai Wagyu Steakhouse Seasoning for depth and umami. 
  2. Arrange ingredients: Place sliced beef, vegetables, tofu, and noodles neatly on a platter around the pot for easy access. 
  3. Shabu shabu time: At the table, each guest takes a slice of Kai Wagyu beef, swishes it in the simmering broth for just a few seconds until tender, then dips it into Kai Wagyu Yakiniku Sauce before eating. 
  4. Cook vegetables and noodles: Add vegetables, tofu, and noodles gradually into the pot, letting everyone enjoy them as they cook. 
  5. Finish with rice (optional): At the end of the meal, add rice into the flavorful broth to create a comforting porridge, making sure nothing goes to waste.
