At Kai Wagyu, we have collaborated with one of the most respected and talented blacksmiths from Seki City, Japan also known as the “City of Blades”. The birthplace of traditional Japanese knives with a 800 year old blacksmithing tradition.
Katsuki blades are forged on a small scale and crafted individually by hand. It takes more than 3 months and around 220 steps to create one Katsuki knife. They are not just knives, they are handcrafted unique pieces of artwork with history and tradition.
